Cyberis Approved to Deliver Defence Cyber Certification Level 0 Assessments

Cyberis is pleased to announce that we are now approved as a Defence Cyber Certification Level 0 Certification Body, enabling us to support organisations working in, or supplying into, the UK defence sector.

Defence Cyber Certification, or DCC, is a cyber assurance scheme developed by the UK Ministry of Defence and IASME to help improve cyber resilience across the defence supply chain. The scheme builds on Cyber Essentials, with Level 0 acting as the foundation level for organisations that need to demonstrate basic cyber security practices.

As a Level 0 Certification Body, Cyberis can now help organisations prepare for DCC Level 0 by reviewing scope, checking Cyber Essentials alignment, advising on evidence expectations, and helping identify gaps before assessment. We can also perform the formal Level 0 assessment for organisations that are ready to proceed.

DCC is particularly relevant for suppliers who are being asked by defence customers, prime contractors, or supply-chain partners to demonstrate an appropriate level of cyber assurance. For Level 0, organisations should be able to show that the relevant business-critical systems and services within scope are covered by Cyber Essentials and that the DCC scope has been clearly defined.

Organisations seeking support with DCC Level 0 preparation or assessment can contact Cyberis to discuss their scope, readiness and next steps.
