Lead the future of IT at Cyberis

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to oversee our IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery. This is a key leadership role where you’ll shape and drive our technology strategy, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable systems that support our business growth.

About the Role

As IT Manager, you’ll be accountable for the performance and continuous improvement of our IT function. You’ll lead a small, capable team and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and the Information Security Manager to ensure compliance and security across all systems. You’ll be the primary point of contact for IT across the business, driving innovation, managing projects, and aligning technology with Cyberis’ operational goals.

Working Arrangements

Our head office is based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, and is available to those who prefer an office environment. However, our workforce is predominantly remote, and this role is remote-first. You will be expected to attend the office as and when required, particularly for key meetings, projects, or collaborative sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategy and policies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT service delivery, ensuring high-quality support and reliable systems.
  • Manage and optimise IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud), ensuring performance and security.
  • Collaborate on IT security and compliance, maintaining standards such as ISO 27001.
  • Plan and deliver IT projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Manage the IT budget and vendor relationships, ensuring value for money.
  • Develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Liaise with other departments to align IT solutions with business needs.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in IT operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive IT documentation and provide regular reporting to the Executive Team.

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, service delivery, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing IT team.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach when needed.

Essential Skills

  • Eligible and willing to undergo UK government clearance process (SC minimum).
  • Great customer facing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
